Samsung, according to the resource LetsGoDigital, is considering integrating a special light indicator into the next generation Galaxy Z Fold smartphone to notify users about events.

Information about the development is published on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Patent illustrations give an idea of the system being designed.

As you can see from the images, the device will be made in a book format with a large flexible screen that folds into the body. There will be an auxiliary display on the outside of the device.

As for the indicator light, Samsung proposes to integrate it into the outer part of the swivel joint. The LED strip will be able to inform the owners about incoming calls and messages, the battery level, various events, etc.

The illustrations show that both the inner and outer screens have a small hole for the camera. A multi-module camera will be installed in the back.

It is possible that the described design will receive the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone, which is expected to be announced next year.
