New to Xbox Game Pass: Celeste, LucasArts classics, Carto and more
Microsoft spoke about what projects have become and will be available in Xbox Game Pass in the near future for users of the service on PC and Xbox consoles. Among them: Five Nights at Freddy’s, Grim Fandango Remastered, Celeste, Ark: Survival Evolved: Explorer’s Edition, and many other games.
The following game is already available:
- Carto (Xbox and PC) is a cute adventure in which you fold a map to explore mysterious lands and help those in trouble. According to the plot, the storm carried away the little girl Karto from her grandmother. The heroine will have to master the skills of building maps by pieces of the world in order to return home.October 29 will be available:
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered (Xbox and PC) is a classic LucasArts adventure that was released in 1993 as a sequel to Maniac Mansion by game designer Robert Gilbert. This is an animated time travel puzzle in which three friends work together to prevent an evil tentacle from taking over the world;
- Five Nights at Freddy’s (Xbox and PC) – a horror film about the nighttime events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, in which a security guard encounters animatronics coming to life at night;
- Full Throttle Remastered (Xbox and PC) is a classic adventure from Tim Schafer, released by LucasArts in 1995. It tells the story of a reckless biker Ben Throttle, who fell into a tale of motorcycles and chaos;
- Grim Fandango Remastered (Xbox and PC) is another classic Tim Schafer adventure released by LucasArts in 1998. This game tells the story of a travel agent named Manny who works in the Death Department. He sells tour packages for the recently deceased, but the hero discovers a conspiracy that threatens the existence of the entire afterlife;
- Unruly Heroes (Xbox and PC) is an action platformer inspired by the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West. As Wukong Monkey King, Sanzan Monk, Kihong Pig, and Sand Sailor, you will go in search of the remains of the Holy Scroll.November 5 will be available:
- Celesta (Xbox and PC) – In this dramatic platformer from the creators of TowerFall, you have to help Madeline defeat her inner demons on her journey to the top of Mount Celesta.
- Comanche (PC) – a helicopter-based futuristic shooter with a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes;
- Deep Rock Galactic (Xbox and PC) is a cooperative action game about space gnomes who dig tunnels in the bowels of an unfamiliar planet. The heroes will have to get a lot of gold and precious stones, but hordes of alien monsters will prevent them from doing so;
- Eastshade (Xbox and PC) is an action-adventure game about an artist who travels East Shade Island. In your arsenal, there is only an easel, and you have to get to know the locals, help them solve their problems, and also find the forgotten corners of the island;
- Knights and Bikes (Xbox and PC) is an action-adventure for one or two players set in the British Isles in the 1980s. This is the story of Nessus and Demelza, who set out in search of the legendary lost treasure.November 17 will be available:
- Ark Survival Evolved: Explorer’s Edition (Xbox and PC) – The edition includes three massive Ark: Survival Evolved add-ons (Scorched Earth, Aberration, and Extinction) and the game itself.As a reminder, the following games will be removed from the Xbox Game Pass catalog on October 30:
