The York County Coroner confirms that Sterling Miller Jr., aged 65, passed away on July 12 at WellSpan York Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for a gunshot wound.The incident occurred on Saturday, July 8, when York City Police swiftly responded to the scene in the 1000 block of Richland Avenue. It was there that they found Mr. Miller suffering from his wounds.

    Authorities have identified the suspect as Brandon Ellerbe, a 30-year-old resident of York. In a recent development, Ellerbe was apprehended on Wednesday, facing charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault. He is currently awaiting arraignment. Notably, these charges were announced prior to the unfortunate news of Miller’s passing.
