Nice addition to MIUI 12.5. Xiaomi will expand the functionality of the MIUI + service

Almost simultaneously with the MIUI 12.5 shell, Xiaomi introduced the MIUI + service. It is very similar to Samsung DeX: MIUI + allows its smartphones to connect to a Windows PC directly from the computer’s desktop. True, while its functionality is sharply limited: firstly, only computers with Windows are supported, and secondly, the technology now works only on 11 flagship models based on the Qualcomm platform. Considering the turn of Xiaomi and Redmi to SoC Mediatek and the fact that MIUI 12.5 is available only on these 11 models so far, such restrictions are hardly pleasing to many users non-compatible devices.
