The set-top box supports DLSS
Nintendo appears to have actually shown off the Switch 2 at Gamescom behind closed doors. Previously there were only rumors about this, but now they have been confirmed by the Eurogamer resource.
Nintendo Switch 2 game console launched Matrix Awakens demo at comparable to PS5 and Xbox Series
Nintendo showed the console to partners, so apparently the announcement is already close. It is known that one of the games shown off was an enhanced Switch version of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it is unclear whether this was just a demo or whether such a game will actually be released.
The console also ran the Matrix Awakens demo on Unreal Engine 5, and it worked comparable to how it works on PS5 and Xbox Series, and with ray tracing. True, firstly, this is still a visual comparison without details, and secondly, DLSS technology was active on Switch 2 at that time. This means that the console really relies on the Nvidia SoC, but no rumors have stated otherwise.
Unfortunately, there are no technical details yet.
