Nioh 2 developers have promised to fix the technical condition of the PC version in future updates
Publisher Koei Tecmo and development studio Team Ninja, in a special publication on the Steam website, commented on the PC version’s technical condition of their samurai action movie Nioh 2.
Recall that users of the Valve digital distribution service criticized the optimization of the game and support for the keyboard and mouse (prompts on the screen are displayed for controllers from Xbox consoles).
The developers said they had clearly heard about the problems of Nioh 2 on the PC and were “actively working ” on several updates designed to fix the main flaws in the project.
The mentioned patches should be released during February and March of the current year. The list of promised improvements includes:
- elimination of several bugs;
- improved performance through DLSS integration;
- adding hints for keyboard and mouse.By the time the material was published, the Steam version of Nioh 2 had received over 5.8 thousand user reviews, of which almost 1.6 thousand were negative (27% of the total).
Nioh 2 debuted in March 2020 on PS4 and made its way to PC (Steam), and PS5 on February 5, 2021, in full edition format with all three-story additions included.
Purchasing the Steam version of Nioh 2 before February 26 of this year will receive two in-game armor sets as a bonus: the Deserter Sokhai’s robes and the fancy gold armor.
