The main innovation of patch 1.27 is integrating the promised keyboard and mouse hints into the game. The option can be selected in the corresponding tab of the system settings.

In addition to this, the patch fixes several bugs related to:

  • displaying effects (in one of the cutscenes) and fog (at levels);
  • facial animation when using the “Ninja-Dragon” transformation;
  • execution of counterattacks with a set limit of 120 frames / s.Also, the update adds the ability to control the camera in photo mode with a mouse and further reduces the performance degradation with high-quality effects.

    Finally, in version 1.27, the developers introduced the ability to set the resolution to 1366 × 768 in the game with the system resolution of 1360 × 768. Also, they enabled the display of shadows in the splash videos even if this graphic option was disabled.

    The previous update – 1.26 – Nioh 2 has been replenished with the promised support for NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology.

    Nioh 2 debuted in March 2020 on PS4 and made its way to PC (Steam) and PS5 on February 5, 2021. Since its release on Valve, its user rating has grown to “very positive” (81% positive).
