Tinkoff launched caller ID for Android
The Tinkoff Bank team announced the launch of a free phone number finder for Android. Previously, the service was only available to iOS users.
With the help of the identifier, users can find out who owns a particular phone number. The information is displayed on the smartphone screen at the time of an incoming call or when manually checking the number in the Tinkoff mobile application.
No longer exclusive to iPhone
All rooms are divided into three categories:
- Fraudsters.
- Spam/advertising.
- Potentially helpful calls with category or organization name.
The Tinkoff caller ID was launched in 2020, and previously it was available only to iOS users. To date, more than 2 million people use caller ID. As noted in Tinkoff, it is expected that after the launch on Android, the user base will increase to 5 million in the next three months.
