Nokia 8.3 successor will get 120Hz display, 108MP camera and new Qualcomm processor

Last year, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 8.3 smartphone, which became its first 5G device. Nokia Power User reported that the company is working on a successor for this model and also shared the key characteristics of the upcoming smartphone.

A recent leak suggests that HMD Global plans to change the naming convention for its upcoming smartphone models, so the successor to the Nokia 8.3 probably won’t get the 8.4 indexes. Perhaps the device will be released under the name Nokia G10.

According to Nokia Power User, this smartphone will receive the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7xx series chipset. We are probably talking about the Snapdragon 775G, which has been expected to launch for some time. It is assumed that the smartphone will boast a 6.5-inch matrix with a Quad HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device is credited with a capacious 5000 mAh battery.

It is reported that the new Nokia smartphone will be equipped with a Penta camera with a main 108-megapixel sensor. The optics supplier is rumored to be the world-famous ZEISS company. The timing of the launch of the device is still unknown.
