Due to American sanctions, Huawei for a long time could not produce smartphones with 5G modems – the company was simply cut off from the supply of the necessary components and ready-made single-chip systems with integrated 5G support. But now everything will change: Huawei has its own SoC with a 5G modem, and the first smartphone based on it will be the Nova 12 Ultra.

According to him, the new mid-level Huawei smartphone (the Nova line is one of these) will have a Kirin 9000s SoC with a 5G modem. It will differ from the regular version of Kirin 9000s by a slightly lower (only 130 MHz) frequency of the large core. The Kirin 9000s configuration, we recall, looks like this: a large core with a frequency of 2.49 GHz, three medium cores with a frequency of 2.15 GHz and four small cores with a frequency of 1.53 GHz. According to rumors, the premiere of the Nova 12 line will take place in December.

Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
