Now on PS5: Mod released that launches The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at 60 fps

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is available on PlayStation 4 with numerous enhancements. Players hoped that on PlayStation 5, for backward compatibility, the project would be played at 60 frames / s. This did not happen, but now a new modification has been released that removes the 30fps limitation.

Wrighton’s Skyrim @ 60 fps mod works not only on the PlayStation 5 but also on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro (though not in the best way). In addition, Skyrim @ 60 fps does not disable the ability to earn PlayStation trophies like all other mods.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is a re-release of the action RPG from Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios. The Special Edition includes not only support for modifications, but also all released extensions, updates and significant improvements to graphics (effects, lighting, reflections, and so on).

Recall that the game takes place two hundred years after the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the snowy province of Skyrim on the Tamriel mainland. The main character is the Dragonborn, who must learn the words of power and defeat Alduin, a powerful dragon.

The original The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011, and the Special Edition went on sale on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2016.
