Amid last year’s protests
Foxconn is preparing to start mass production of the iPhone 15, which is scheduled for August. In addition to purely technical training, such as the modernization of production lines, this time Foxconn decided to take care of its employees.
Now the Chinese will produce the iPhone 15 under better conditions.
Last year, due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, workers at the company’s factories were placed in appalling conditions, eventually leading to protests and production delays.
Foxconn has now reportedly upgraded dorm rooms, bathrooms and installed air conditioning in its Zhengzhou park. Considering that the temperature in that region rises significantly at this time of the year, air conditioners for workers will clearly be very useful. In addition, improving working and living conditions can also increase productivity.
