With a newly added feature, you can no longer enter your password to sign in to icloud.com and Apple.com. iPhone with iOS 17 allows you to use Face ID or Touch ID for authentication instead.

According to 9to5mac.com, the new operating systems iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and macOS Sonoma allow you to automatically assign a passkey that can be used for iCloud and Apple sites.

Now you can access Apple sites using your iPhone without a password.

To sign in to apple.com, appleid.apple.com, or www.apple.com/shop/bag, all you have to do is click the “Sign in with iPhone” button after entering the email address associated with your Apple ID account.

Currently, iOS 17 is only available in beta, and the final version is expected in September.
