Nuketown ’84 Map Coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Today

Activision Blizzard and Treyarch Studios will release Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War today, bringing a new map to the game – Nuketown ’84. This is another variation of one of the most popular cards in the series. This time it sticks to the theme of the 1980s, although the visual variegation resembles the Borderlands shooter dilogy. The map takes place in the middle of nowhere: trailers, dilapidated houses, old buses, and crumbling fences.

Recall that Activision Blizzard is trying a new approach to releasing content. Instead of bundles of paid add-ons in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, maps are released for free. Nuketown ’84 is the first of these. More new content is coming in December, including the return of Gunfight (2v2).

The update will roll out to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 at 10:00 p.m. EDT. In addition to the hotly anticipated Nuketown ’84, the patch contains several bug and bug fixes for multiplayer and Zombies. So, for example, on some maps, the spawn locations of the players were adjusted, and the body armor began to properly protect against explosive damage in Hardcore modes.

Additionally, until November 30, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a double XP and Weapon XP bonus.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War went on sale on November 13, 2020.
