Great progress compared to the GeForce RTX 3070
It can be seen that the GeForce RTX 4070 will receive 12 GB of GDDR6X memory – more than its predecessors. But even more impressive is the growth in L2 cache: the novelty has 36 MB of it – exactly 9 times more than the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti / 3070. Alas, in this model, Nvidia will not be generous with a 256-bit memory bus, and the use of 192-bit leads to the fact that the memory bandwidth is less than that of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti (but more than that of the GeForce RTX 3070).

The TGP value of the GeForce RTX 4070 is 200W. This model is yet another proof of the energy efficiency of the Ada Lovelace architecture. In games, the consumption is 186 W – versus 215 W for the GeForce RTX 3070 and 240 W for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.
And finally, most importantly, the price of $600 has been confirmed. That is, with performance clearly higher than that of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, the price will remain the same. Although overclocked partner solutions will obviously be more expensive than $600.
