Nvidia’s market capitalization on Tuesday, June 13, surpassed $1 trillion for the first time, according to the New York Stock Exchange.
As early as May 30, Nvidia’s capitalization rose above the $1 trillion mark during the trading day, but at the close of the day it fell below the sign mark and amounted to $992 billion .
Nvidia joins the trillionaire club
Nvidia has become the seventh American company with a capitalization of over $1 trillion. Before it are Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Tesla and Meta, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned.
Since the beginning of the year, Nvidia shares have risen in price by more than 180% amid growing interest in artificial intelligence.
