Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm Coming to PC, Next-Gen Consoles and More
FDG Entertainment has announced in its microblog that it will help the independent Finnish studio Cornfox & Bros. with the expansion of the platform geography of the action-adventure Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm.
Recall that originally Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm was considered an exclusive Apple Arcade service, but later the creation of Cornfox & Bros. made it to the Nintendo Switch.
Now, thanks to FDG Entertainment, Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm will begin to prepare for the release on new systems for it – PC, current generation consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X and S), and some “others”.
The date and even the timing of the release of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm outside Apple Arcade and Nintendo Switch were not disclosed, however, in connection with the announcement, a new trailer for the game was published
The events of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm unfold a thousand years before those described in the first part. The young hero with fellow travelers will have to defeat the sorcerer Mezmeroth with his huge army of Darkness.
The developers promise a “hand-drawn world of secrets and legends”, “unique gameplay”, “mysterious puzzles”, “massive boss fights” and a story campaign for 20 hours.
Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm was released on September 19, 2019, on iOS (Apple Arcade), while the Nintendo Switch edition was released on October 28, 2020. On Metacritic, a project has from 69 to 72%, depending on the platform.
