Counterpoint survey reveals user preferences
A Counterpoint survey of US residents showed that 28% of smartphone owners are likely to choose a foldable device as their next device.
Samsung is expected to become the leader among user preferences regarding foldable devices – 46% of those who spoke in favor of buying such a device voted for the Korean giant. Another 39% chose Apple, which has not released anything yet, and 6% want something from Motorola.
One in four in the US wants a foldable smartphone
In terms of loyalty, 92% of Samsung smartphone users will choose a foldable smartphone from the same company.
49% of the same 28% that we are talking about consider for themselves first of all a device in the clamshell form factor, and 35% voted for a smartphone-book.
