A well-known insider says the Galaxy A82 is equipped with a “dual-use” camera

The image of the Galaxy A82 in the Google Play Console indicates that it has a familiar design with a hole for the front camera. This is odd since the Galaxy A82 should be the successor to the 2019 Galaxy A80 smartphone, which featured an innovative design with a motorized rotating camera used for selfies as well. There are speculations that the Google Play Console does not yet have official images of the Samsung Galaxy A82, and this render is used as a “placeholder”.

The Samsung Galaxy A82 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC, making it far more affordable than most smartphones on the market. The amount of RAM will be 4 or 6 GB, while the smartphone will receive 128/256 GB of flash memory. The Galaxy A82 has a 1080 x 2400-pixel display with 450 PPI. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 operating system.

Earlier well-known informant Evan Blass said the Galaxy A82 is equipped with a “dual-use” camera that will use the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 image sensor.
