Japanese publisher Capcom announced the imminent opening of a centralized portal for the games of the horror series Resident Evil, and also hinted at the future of the famous franchise.

The new site will be called the Resident Evil Portal – it will incorporate content from the existing Biohazard Official (Japanese only), Biohazard Club96 (also Japanese, registration required), Resident Evil Ambassador  (registration), Resident Evil.net and the old Resident Evil Portal.

The launch is expected in early 2021. Capcom promises to create a portal that will become the main source of information about the Resident Evil series, a place to exchange statistics and a bottomless “content-box” for newcomers and veterans of the franchise.

Among other things, the administrators of the official microblog of the Resident Evil Ambassador program mentioned that Capcom is working on “many projects” in the universe of the famous series.

To date, only one upcoming release of Resident Evil is reliably known – Resident Evil Village should be released by the end of 2021 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

As for the rest of the developments within the walls of Capcom, these games are still kept secret. However, information about them leaked to the Network thanks to the release schedule published by the hackers for the coming years.

According to unconfirmed reports, by March 2025, Capcom plans to release Resident Evil Outrage (aka Revelations 3 ), a remake of Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Apocalypse and Resident Evil Hank.
