OnePlus 9, 9R, 9 Pro flagship smartphones and the first OnePlus smartwatches will be presented on March 8
OnePlus has posted a teaser on its official website confirming the scheduled event to be held on March 8th. Apart from the slogan “Something new is on the horizon,” the teaser does not contain any upcoming presentation information.
It is expected to feature the next-generation OnePlus smartphones – OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. According to well-known blogger Ishan Agarwal, author of the resource MySmartPrice, in addition to the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, the 9R model will be presented and the company’s first smartwatches.
While the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones will use the Snapdragon 888 processor, the 9R, also known as the OnePlus 9 Lite or 9E, will be powered by the Snapdragon 690 chip, rather than the previously rumored Snapdragon 865. Apparently, the OnePlus 9R smartphone is assigned to fill the price gap between the mid-range Nord models and numbered flagships.
Little is known about the debut OnePlus smartwatch, except that it will have a round watch face and run the Google Wear operating system. There is still more than a week before the presentation, and, quite possibly, through the efforts of insiders, more information about this new product will appear on the Web.
