OnePlus Band fitness bracelet showed up in the official teaser ahead of the launch
Following rumours, OnePlus has officially started hinting at an imminent announcement of its fitness bracelet in India. The teaser states that “The New Face of Fitness” will soon be released under the concept of “smart devices everywhere.” If you adjust the exposure in the image, you can see the curved bracelet and the OnePlus branding on the front.
The company is also hinting at a sleep tracking feature that appears in the companion app. Based on earlier rumours, the OnePlus Band is said to be the counterpart of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 and offer features such as water resistance, AMOLED screen and long battery life. Most likely, the solution will work on its own platform, by analogy with other similar bracelets.
You can also mention the heart rate sensor, which is present in most fitness bracelets, but it is not yet clear if the OnePlus Band will receive support for monitoring blood oxygen levels SpO2, which has recently been found in an increasing number of such wearable electronics.
The OnePlus CEO recently confirmed that the development OnePlus Watch will be unveiled in 2021, but the company will launch a bracelet first.
