OnePlus cuts prices for Nord smartphones and unveils affordable Nord N1 5G model
OnePlus, according to network sources, is preparing to release a new relatively inexpensive smartphone: the device will enter the Nord family and will debut no earlier than the middle of the year.
The series currently includes the Nord, Nord N100, and Nord N10 5G models, which debuted last year. The developed smartphone, as it became known, will receive the name Nord N1 5G, replacing the Nord N10 5G.
Unfortunately, there is no information on the technical characteristics of the novelty at the moment. It is speculated that the device will be based on one of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series processors with an integrated 5G modem.
Most likely, the device will receive a Full HD + display and a main camera with three or four optical modules. The official announcement may take place in the third quarter.
It is also reported that the current Nord N100 and Nord N10 5G models will soon drop in price for European buyers. Thus, the price of the Nord N100 will drop from 199 to 149 euros, and the Nord N10 5G – from 349 to 299 euros. The changes will take effect on Monday next week – February 8th.
