OnePlus Nord SE will be technically identical to the original Nord

For some time now, there have been rumours on the web that OnePlus is preparing a Nord SE smartphone. As a reminder, the original device was presented this summer. After that, the series was supplemented by the more affordable Nord N10 5G and N100. Now it became known that the Nord SE will not bring anything fundamentally new to the series, but will only become a design modification of the original Nord.

The appearance of the smartphone is being developed in collaboration with renowned designer Joshua Vides, known primarily for his collaboration with the fashion brand Fendi. His partnership with OnePlus will focus on developing original smartphone body designs and creating original wallpapers for the device. It is assumed that the characteristics of the smartphone will remain the same.

As a reminder, OnePlus Nord is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. The smartphone boasts a high-quality 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a decent quad-camera. The OnePlus Nord SE is expected to be unveiled in spring 2021 alongside the flagship OnePlus 9.
