In the US, a lawsuit is also brewing against CDPR over the situation with Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 arrived on store shelves in poor technical condition, and this is especially true for versions for basic consoles of the previous generation. Against the background of such a release, the studio’s share price dropped by 46% compared to the value in early December, and then by another 17.6% due to the removal of Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS Store. The current situation, of course, did not like the investors: in Poland, a class action lawsuit is already being prepared against CDPR, and now a law firm from the United States has come up with a similar initiative.

We are talking about Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP, which recently announced the start of an investigation against CD Projekt RED. Employees of the organization will try to establish whether the Polish studio misled its investors and shareholders about Cyberpunk 2077. Lawyer Wolf Haldenstein, who has extensive experience in such proceedings, will handle the case.

Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP urged all CD Projekt RED investors who are registered in the United States and suffered losses amid the launch of a new project of the Polish studio to contact her. If there are a lot of dissatisfied people, then the law firm will most likely file a class-action lawsuit, and CDPR will have to defend itself in court.

Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP made a statement immediately after Cyberpunk 2077 was removed from the PS Store. These two factors led to a drop in the value of CD Projekt shares to PLN 246.7 per share. The indicated price is the lowest in the last six months.
