OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that their first smartwatch, called the OnePlus Watch, will provide “seamless connectivity” between OnePlus devices, including smartphones, audio peripherals, smart clothes and smart TVs.

Pete Lau added that the OnePlus Watch will have a “stunning and lightweight design,” and also posted the first video showing the OnePlus Watch will receive a round watch face. Presumably, the diameter will be 46 mm.

The OnePlus CEO also said the OnePlus Watch will provide “a best-in-class experience at an affordable price.” He added that the device will not run the Google Wear operating system. Instead, it will receive a new OS.

When designing the OnePlus Watch, we tried to understand the pain points for the smartwatch owner. We’ve built a smart real-time operating system (RTOS) that delivers smooth and reliable operation while offering long battery life.

It is known that the watch will receive a step counter and heart rate monitoring, as well as an SpO2 sensor, support for various types of training, sleep tracking and 4 GB of internal memory. They can also be used as a remote control for OnePlus TVs. Warp Charge fast charging technology will charge them for a week of work in 20 minutes.
