It doesn’t matter if the headphones have a 3.5mm jack or USB-C
Against the background of lower prices for wireless headphones, they are becoming increasingly popular, while many manufacturers have already abandoned the use of a 3.5 mm jack in their smartphones. However, many continue to use wired headphones, for which there have long been adapters with 3.5 mm jacks and USB-C.
OnePlus smartphones drive wired headphones crazy
Users of wired headphones and OnePlus smartphones report that recently they are increasingly faced with a strange problem. It manifests itself in the fact that the sound intended for the left channel is reproduced in the right earphone, and vice versa.
Someone may not pay attention to this problem, but in some scenarios, for example, in games or when watching movies, this can be very annoying. Interestingly, the problem manifests itself regardless of whether users connect official OnePlus headphones or headphones from other manufacturers. It doesn’t matter if the headphones have a 3.5mm jack or USB-C. At the same time, there is no such problem on wireless headphones.
Most often, users of the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 7 ruler smartphones complain about the problem. OnePlus has started studying this issue, but so far there is no new firmware.
