In a message from the developers, it is said that after the transition to using its own processors, Apple will have more opportunities to control the level of performance of its computers and the software used in them. The updated Opera browser for macOS, according to the developers, runs twice as fast as the previous version to ensure maximum performance and smoothness when working with web content.

“ Like Apple, Opera’s goal is to make the Internet as convenient as possible. In this latest release, Opera is twice as fast as the previous version of the browser. This means faster access to your favorite websites and faster navigation to Opera’s built-in features such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter, and Instagram – all neatly placed in the sidebar, ”the developers said in a statement.

Along with this, browser users can now set keyboard shortcuts to access the Opera Flow feature, which combines the browser’s desktop and mobile versions. This feature uses end-to-end encryption to provide a high level of confidentiality and protection of data transmitted between devices. Besides, users can now create shortcuts for the built-in Crypto Wallet and Player function, giving access to Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube Music music services. Custom shortcuts can be accessed by clicking the corresponding three-dot icon in the sidebar and choosing the Customize Shortcuts option from the context menu that appears.
