We are talking about a device in a folding case in the style of Motorola Razr. Resource LetsGoDigital has already unveiled high-quality renders of the device, created on the basis of patent documentation.
A clamshell smartphone is being designed, with a flexible screen that folds into the body. The renders show a fully bezel-less panel with a small hole in the center in the top area for a single front camera.
The main camera will certainly get a multi-module configuration. At the bottom, you can see the speaker grilles and a balanced USB Type-C port.
OPPO’s patent filings emphasize the design of the pivot joint of the upper and lower body halves. It will allow you to fix the device with a different opening angle – say, 90 or 120 degrees.
It is assumed that the new product will debut in the commercial market under the Reno brand. The smartphone will be able to function in the fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks. However, nothing has been announced about the date of a possible announcement.
