OPPO is preparing a smartphone with a selfie camera that is hidden under the display

Information about the new product was published on the website of China’s National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). The patent illustrations give an idea of ​​the construction of the apparatus.

The device does not have a visible selfie camera, although the screen has fairly wide bezels at the top and bottom. The fingerprint scanner is also not visible – it can be integrated directly into the display area.

The multi-module rear camera is enclosed in a circular area. The four optical elements are arranged in an inverted T; there is a flash under them.
