New Oppo shoot well, work for a long time and charge not much slower than the flagships
Oppo today introduced the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro smartphones. These are mid-range models that focus on cameras, autonomy, and charging speed. But platforms are typical for their class: MediaTek Helio P90 in Reno3 and Snapdragon 765G in Reno3 Pro.
Oppo Reno3 and Reno3 Pro smartphones with 44 front megapixels and up to 108 megapixels from the main camera
To begin with, both models are thinner and lighter than their predecessors: thickness and weight of Reno3 – 7.9 mm and 171 grams, Reno3 Pro – 7.7 mm and the same 171 grams. The Reno3 configuration provides 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory, while the Reno3 Pro has already quite flagship 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. The screens also differ: in both cases, AMOLED matrices with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels are installed, but in the Reno3 Pro the frame frequency is 90 Hz against the standard 60 Hz in the younger model. Screen sizes are 6.4 inches for Reno3 and 6.5 inches for Reno3 Pro. Protection of displays in both cases is provided by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5.
Both models have quad cameras with the same set of sensors: 2 (for analyzing the depth of the scene), 8 (connected to a wide-angle lens), 13 (connected to a telephoto lens) and 48 megapixels (main, Sony IMX586). But there are nuances. For example, Reno3 does not have optical stabilization, and in Reno3 Pro it is – Ultra Steady Video 2.0. Both models provide 5x hybrid and 20x digital zoom, and a special algorithm allows you to stitch several pictures together, while the resolution of the finished photo is 108 megapixels. There is also an Ultra Dark mode – due to multi-frame noise reduction and long exposure, it allows you to take high-quality photos in low light. Reno3 has a front-facing camera with a resolution of 44 megapixels; in the older model, a sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixels is used. However, if in Reno3, the front is made in a teardrop-shaped cut
The battery capacity is the same – 4025 mAh, but if Reno3 supports charging VOOC 3.0 with a power of 20 W, then Reno3 Pro supports charging VOOC 4.0 with a capacity of 30 W already. Full charge – in 72 and 56 minutes, respectively. Both models have NFC, but the older one also has stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and liquid cooling.
Oppo Reno3 Pro is estimated at 49,990 rubles. When buying in the official OPPO online store, users will receive a branded Enco Q1 active noise canceling headset as a gift. The price of Oppo Reno3 is 29,990 rubles. The bonus when buying in the official online store is a mobile battery with a capacity of 10,000 mAh.
