Two Qualcomm SoCs and one MediaTek
Oppo is preparing the next line of budget flagships – Reno5. According to a well-known Chinese insider, the series will include three models and different single-chip systems.
Oppo Reno5 lineup of smartphones – three models on three different platforms
The base representative of the Reno5 line will be built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. The next model (it can be called an intermediate one) will receive SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1000, and the top-end one will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Considering that Reno5 is not an absolute flagship, the choice of such single-chip systems looks quite justified.
Oppo Reno5 is credited with 8-12 GB of RAM and 128-256 GB of flash memory, support for 65W charging, multi-module cameras with a 64MP main sensor, batteries with a capacity of over 4000 mAh, and Android 11.
