OPPO revealed upcoming augmented reality glasses

The Chinese company OPPO, one of the world’s largest smartphone suppliers, has released a teaser image anticipating the imminent announcement of a new wearable gadget – next-generation augmented reality (AR) glasses.

The device will debut this coming week – November 17 – as part of the 2020 OPPO Future Technology Conference, which will be held in Shenzhen (Guangdong Province, China).

As you can see in the teaser, the new product looks like ordinary sunglasses. Thanks to a special visualization system, owners will be able to see the real world and the image generated by the electronic system.

Integrated cameras can be seen at the top corners of the lenses. Additional sensors are located on the bridge of the nose. It says about the presence of depth sensors, an array of microphones with the ability to recognize voice commands, and an audio system with support for surround sound.

The OPPO Future Technology Conference is also expected to announce other curious new products. According to rumors, a foldable smartphone with a flexible display will be shown, behind which will be located the camera.

In addition, it is rumored that OPPO will show the latest ultra-fast charging technologies: wired 125W and wireless 65W.
