OPPO showed an unusual smartphone-transformer Slide-Phone and strange wireless headphones Music-Link
OPPO, one of the world’s largest smartphone suppliers, demonstrated interesting concepts for mobile devices during the China International Industrial Design Expo (CIIDE).
One of the devices shown is the Slide-Phone smartphone, made in a transformable body. Thanks to multiple joints, owners will be able to fold the gadget in different ways, as shown in the illustrations.
Moreover, Slide-Phone can be controlled using a special stylus hiding inside the device. So users can take handwritten notes, sketches, and more.
Another concept is the completely wireless submersible Music-Link headphones. Modules-inserts in the form of the letter “C” can be attached to each other, held in the side parts of the charging case or smartwatch case.
Additional accessories are provided for Music-Link. This is a smart speaker and portable battery, which have a special cutout for the earphone case.
Note that the concepts were created in partnership with the renowned Japanese design studio Nendo. No plans have been made for commercial gadgets with this design.
