On its official website, the Moscow studio Owlcat Games announced the launch date and the first details of the next stage of beta testing of its role-playing game Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

Recall, the “beta” Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous began in February this year. Since then, the developers have spent time analyzing and fixing bugs, improving various aspects, and adding new content and functions.

The beta version of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is currently preparing for a major update on May 5th. The patch will bring the crusade control mechanics, new side quests, and a final interface.

Another novelty in the upcoming version will be a talking weapon named Finnegan – its addition to the game was made possible by achieving one of the additional objectives of the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous crowdfunding campaign.

As a reward for completing his storyline, Finnegan will be able to become any weapon. Until that moment, he will behave like any other party member – participate in dialogues, chat during a halt, and so on.

As with the first “beta” of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, the second will be open to Kickstarter contributors, preorders, and early access, which can be purchased from the official Owlcat Games website.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is currently announced exclusively for PC (Steam, GOG). The project’s release is expected before the end of this year – earlier, the developers spoke specifically about June, but, apparently, these plans had to be abandoned.
