The fact that the employees of Inkle Studios did not sit idly by after the release of Pendragon became known at the end of November: the studio opened a special page on its website dedicated to the upcoming project.

Not much is known about the upcoming adventure: events will unfold in the Scottish Highlands, and travel will be the main topic. The authors promise replay potential, branched narrative and platform elements.

As for the name, the new creation of Inkle Studios (at least for people outside the studio) does not have it yet: “Ok, we have a proper name, but we are not ready to announce it yet!”

Since launching the blog, Inkle Studios co-founder Joe Humfrey has shared several concept arts, including one from acting artistic director Canavan.

In the last entry, Humphrey showed the evolution of the main character. A more mature and serious design (with dark hair), according to the team members, suits the protagonist best.

While Inkle Studios’ Scottish adventure is in its early stages of development – release dates and target platforms (not to mention the title) are being kept under wraps – the studio promises to be more open than ever with the production process.
