With this takeover, People Can Fly has grown to over 320 employees in seven cities worldwide. People Can Fly Chicago is the company’s third headquarters in North America.

“A new chapter is opening for our team,” said Phosphor CEO Corcoran. “ We’re thrilled to join People Can Fly to open a brand new high-end studio – People Can Fly Chicago. Our goal is to strengthen People Can Fly ‘s presence in the US and help develop People Can Fly as an international brand. ”

People Can Fly CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski added: “The takeover of Phosphor Studios is simply the implementation of our strategy announced during our recent IPO with PCF Group. With such a variety of ongoing projects, we need experienced and ambitious professionals to bring our plans to life. Given the expertise and quality of the Phosphor team, I am confident that they will perfectly complement the People Can Fly family and contribute to our growth. Welcome aboard!”

People Can Fly is currently working on two new high-budget titles: Square Enix and an original action-adventure for Take-Two Interactive. The company is currently hastily fixing the aftermath of the not-so-successful launch of the ambitious co-op shooter Outriders for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5. The game features RPG elements familiar to the genre, such as classes, skill trees, extensive character customization, and rare item searches.
