Note that we are not talking about native versions of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S. The game will work in backward compatibility.

PUBG Corporation has revealed that the PlayStation 5 will be loaded with a PlayStation 4 Pro version of the shooter. When the performance mode is activated, the game will run at up to 60 frames per second. Xbox Series X will use the build for Xbox One X. Here, in performance mode, the game will run at a stable 60 frames per second. As for the Xbox Series S, this console will use the Xbox One S version of PUBG, which is rated at 30 frames per second. It will be the same on the new console, but the studio plans to raise the framerate cap on both Xbox One S and Xbox Series S in the future.

“After extensive testing, we are pleased to report that the game is very smooth and stable, with faster loading times and virtually no frame loss thanks to the next-generation power,” concluded PUBG Corporation.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
