Polaroid Introduces Hi-Print 2 × 3 Pocket Photo Printer for Waterproof Shots
People don’t print photos as often these days as they did in the past. However, even now, many people continue to do this, so manufacturers periodically release to the market compact photo printers that allow you to reproduce images on paper almost instantly. One of these new products is the Polaroid Hi-Print 2 × 3 printer, which can create high-quality photographs that, moreover, are not afraid of moisture.
The compact photo printer differs from most analogs in that it is capable of producing high-quality photos. This uses dye-sublimation technology to produce environmentally-resistant images of 2.1 “x 3.4” (53.3 x 86.3 mm). Each photo has a sticky strip on the back surface, which can be used to easily turn a photo into a sticker by sticking it on any surface.
The device is housed in a white durable plastic case decorated with rainbow lines. Reportedly, it takes about a minute to print one photo. The printer can work in conjunction with devices based on Android and iOS, using the built-in Bluetooth 5.0 adapter for synchronization. In addition to Hi-Print, there is a proprietary photo-editing application. With it, you can apply filters, add stickers or text, which will later be transferred to the photo when printing.
Autonomous operation is ensured by a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 640 mAh, which provides printing of 20 pictures. A micro-USB interface is provided for recharging the battery. The novelty has dimensions of 175 × 101 × 46 mm and weighs 255 g (excluding the cartridge with photo paper).
