Niantic has partnered with Microsoft to create a Pokemon Go concept that showcases what the game might look like in the future. The video shows how HoloLens users can spot a Pokémon in the wild and feed them berries before fighting another player in a game.

“While this demo is not intended for consumer use, it offers an early look at the future of both software and hardware,” said Niantic CEO and Founder John Hanke. – We have just started. We know that the coming years will be filled with important breakthroughs that will mark the way to transform AR into a life-changing computing platform

Microsoft Mesh is a new mixed reality platform for developers built on top of the Azure cloud service. It allows everyone to share virtual experiences across devices, and Microsoft hopes that this will push developers to create mixed reality apps.
