PowerColor unveils Radeon RX 6900 XT and Radeon RX 6800 XT Liquid Devil with waterblock and factory overclocking

PowerColor has unveiled the Radeon RX 6900 XT and Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics accelerators by Liquid Devil. Both video cards use non-reference printed circuit boards equipped with reinforced power subsystems built according to the 14 + 2 scheme. According to the manufacturer, the Liquid Devil series’s graphics accelerators are designed to work with a consumption of more than 400 watts. Each of the presented video card models is equipped with three 8-pin connectors for an additional power supply. PowerColor recommends using a 900W or more power supply for new products. The dimensions of the video cards are 266 × 162 × 42 mm.

The PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT and Radeon RX 6800 XT Liquid Devil are overclocked from the factory. For the flagship model, a Boost frequency of 2365 MHz is declared, which is 5.1 percent higher than the video card’s reference version. The RX 6800 XT Liquid Devil graphics chip in Boost mode can automatically overclock to 2360 MHz, which is 4.9 percent higher than the reference. Both cards are equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 video memory with a 256-bit bus and an effective frequency of 16 GHz.

Both models’ equipment includes the same set of external video interfaces: one HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 1.4, and one USB Type-C each.

The water block of the PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT and Radeon RX 6800 XT Liquid Devil models consists of a nickel-plated copper base and a transparent acrylic case that has received an ARGB backlight. The delivery set of video cards includes a set of proprietary Devil Dye dyes for coolant. The manufacturer does not name the price of new products. Both cards will be on sale from March 15th.
