PR manager of STALKER 2 spoke about the importance of the open world and the elements of the immersive sim.

Nevertheless, the GamingBolt portal published the full version of the interview with the PR manager of GSC Game World Zakhar Bocharov, fragments of which he teased STALKER 2 fans from the end of April.

Recall that within the framework of the published fragments, Bocharov has already talked about the duration and non-linearity of the game and the plans (more precisely, their absence) for the PlayStation 5.

In a new publication, Bocharov once again mentioned the importance of the open world for the plot: “The player must feel the scale and results of decisions. The road is long, so that it can take effect. A great journey at its own pace and with its own outcomes.  “

“Also [we want to show] the new beauty of the area. A seamless world has always been a goal for the series. I hope players enjoy both the story and the world we create. They are essential for us, ” Bocharov assured.

As for the previously announced elements of the immersive sim in STALKER 2, they, according to Bocharov, will make players feel “small and almost helpless,” realizing that the zone will not even notice their death.

As for the post-release period for STALKER 2, Bocharov was not ready to speak: “As a company, we plan, but let us release our baby first. By the way, GSC is not only about STALKER ”.

STALKER 2 is officially announced for PC, Xbox Series X, and S. According to Microsoft documents released in the case between Apple and Epic Games, and the game will be an Xbox console exclusive for three months.
