Toyota has unveiled the Prius 24h Le Mans Centennial GR Edition, a racing concept version of the fifth generation hybrid, ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Toyota says this special Prius is meant to pay homage to the iconic race. The hybrid hatchback was fitted with many motorsport-inspired details. The modified GR Prius, called the GRius, features a carbon fiber hood, rectangular rear wing and rear diffuser. The manufacturer said the aerodynamic add-ons were influenced by the GR010 Hybrid racing car, which won Le Mans in 2021 and 2022.

The GRius concept also features a wider track than the standard Prius, and black 18-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin 235/50 tires rather than the usual 195mm rubber. The front bumper received a wide rectangular grille and square LED headlight clusters, while the bonnet was replaced with carbon fiber to save weight.
