Russian automotive giant AvtoVAZ announced that it has reached an important milestone – on November 20, 2023, total sales of Lada Granta cars crossed the 1.5 million mark.

The “anniversary” car of the Lada Granta family was sold in Togliatti as part of the “We Buy in Togliatti” program. It was a white sedan in the Standard configuration. The press service said:
Having exceeded the 1.5 million mark, the Lada Granta has become one of the most popular Lada families and has overtaken such models as Lada Priora and Lada Kalina, and even the legendary “nine” (VAZ-2109) in sales volume.
The “people’s car” Lada Granta has been present on the Russian market for 12 years, since December 2011. Already in 2012, the model became one of the best-selling models and since then has consistently held 1st or 2nd place in the ranking. Lada Granta became the No. 1 model on the market 6 times based on sales results in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2019, 2020, 2022, and in 2023 AvtoVAZ expects a similar high result.
