At the plant “SaryarkaAvtoProm” in Kostanay
Kazakhstan is preparing to start production and sales of a new Jetour crossover called the Jetour X70. The corresponding page appeared in the local register of vehicle type approvals.
The document says that the production of the Jetour X70 will be launched at the SaryarkaAvtoProm plant in Kostanay. In the local market, the Jetour X70, which is built on the Chery Tiggo 8 platform, will be offered with a seven-seat interior and a 1.5-liter 147-horsepower turbocharged gasoline engine that will work with a manual or automatic transmission.
The equipment of the crossover will include front and side airbags, a rear-view camera, tire pressure sensors and various driver assistance systems.
The price and start date of Jetour X70 sales in Kazakhstan have not yet been announced.
