The digital panel on the front was not allowed into production
Hyundai has unveiled a limited production version of its Disney-themed Ioniq 5 but unfortunately has ditched the digital dashboard featured in the concept.
Hyundai unveiled the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum concept at the New York Auto Show earlier this year. The special edition retains the Gravity Gold Matte body with rims, the pattern of which evokes associations with Mickey Mouse ears.
But the coolest feature of the concept did not make it into production. We are talking about panels and headlights, which showed various animations, as well as fireworks
The production version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition presented
The special edition also features Mickey Mouse-themed trim, unique floor mats, and embossed Disney100 logos on the front seats and center console.
Production will be limited to 1,000 units and the Ioniq 5 Disney100 Platinum Edition will go on sale early next year.
The price has not yet been announced.
