Protective case images confirm the design of Huawei Mate 40 smartphones

The well-known source of leaks Slashleaks has published images of the flagship smartphones Huawei Mate 40 in transparent silicone cases. Renders fully reveal the design of new products, the official presentation of which will take place in September.

The basic version of the Mate 40 and its more efficient modification Mate 40 Pro, as well as variants of the Mate 40 Pro Plus and Mate 40 Porsche Special Edition, is preparing for release.

The presented images confirm the information that there is a dual selfie camera in the front of the smartphones: an oblong hole is provided for it in the upper left corner of the screen.

Behind you can see a huge multi-module chamber in the form of a round block. It includes four optical elements and a flash. In addition, you can see an additional hole – possibly for a microphone.

The devices have side physical control buttons and asymmetrical USB Type-C port at the bottom of the case.

The smartphones will be based on the 5-nanometer Kirin 1020 processor: the Mate 40 series devices will become the latest Huawei flagships on proprietary chips. The amount of RAM will be 8 or 12 GB.

The Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro are rumored to have a 90Hz refresh rate display. The Mate 40 Pro Plus version can get a 120Hz screen.
