PS5 version of shareware shooter Rogue Company will be released on March 30
Studio Hi-Rez announced in its microblog that on March 30, it would release a special version of Rogue Company for PlayStation 5. Recall that the shareware multiplayer shooter was released in early access in summer 2020, and a special version for Xbox Series S and X became available with the launch consoles.
Until recently, PlayStation 5 owners had to settle for PS4 backward compatibility. But now, the balance will be restored. The PS5 version will provide support for 4K resolution in two modes: the first will improve graphics at 60 fps, and the second will provide a frequency of 120 fps.
In Rogue Company, only the best of the best can save the world, and the player has a chance to become one of the elite agents to challenge enemies in different online modes. Missions take place in the most exotic corners of the globe, be it the skyscrapers of Dubai or Italy’s coast. The key to victory is combat prowess and the effective use of a wide variety of weapons.
Originally published by Hi-Rez Studios, the project was only available after purchasing the Premium Founder’s Pack on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Epic Games Store), which guaranteed access to the beta. But in October last year, a full-fledged launch took place already in the form of a shareware project.
Rogue Company is currently available as a free download on Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC ( Epic Games Store ).
