The first full trailer for the Alone In Windstorm mod for STALKER: Call of Pripyat has appeared on TheWolfstalker2 YouTube channel. It is created based on the Metro universe and the engine of the STALKER series of games. The modification page is present on the Ap-Pro website, but the authors are not mentioned there.

The description of the project says: “The mod is being developed on the X-Ray 1.6 platform based on the Metro universe. Players are waiting for a new storyline that touches on several new unique locations at once. And not only open but also underground. The game will take place in the vicinity of Polyarnye Zori, which is located in the Murmansk region. Accordingly, the gameplay will be tied to survival in the harsh winter climate. The player will have to independently obtain food, for example, fishing and hunting, escape from wild animals, travel the world using various means of navigation, and warm up by the fire. “

Some of the survival mechanics are shown in the trailer: the main character uses an ax to break down a wooden door, fishes in an ice hole, explores dark locations with a torch in his hand, and so on.

Alone In Windstorm will release in 2021; no exact release date has been announced.
