Published renders of new generation AirPods wireless headphones. Their presentation is expected this month.

In anticipation of the event, new renders have surfaced on the web showing the next-generation AirPods wireless earbuds’ design. According to Gizmochina, which posted these images, they are based on Apple vendor sources’ data. According to the renders, the new model has a shorter stem and replaceable ear tips like the AirPods Pro. The fact that the new version of AirPods will be made in the AirPods Pro model’s spirit was announced last month. However, which is also possible, the images reflect only some design features, and in the final form, AirPods 3 will look a little different.
The publication says that the new product can support active noise cancellation (ANC). In this case, according to Gizmochina, the next-generation AirPods Pro should have some additional features that would justify the presence of the Pro prefix and a higher price in the name.
Apple released the first AirPods in December 2016. The second-generation AirPods launched in 2019 with support for wireless charging and Hey Siri, although the design remains unchanged. Later that year, Apple added the AirPods Pro to its active noise canceling headphone family.
